we got very nice value for our money in a modern two-bedroom spa unit that exceeded all our expectations. The friendly staff made us feel really welcome, and the location was conveniently close to a supermarket and just a short walk to the beach.

Morning meal would really benefit from some coffee for the plunger.

The spacious, spotless unit provided comfort and convenience for my son and me, with separate sleeping and lounging areas. Nearby landmarks like Wairere Falls and the Whakatane District Museum offered lovely family outings. Malcolm’s warm hospitality, combined with relaxing BBQ facilities in the garden, made our experience nice—though the cooking restrictions were a minor inconvenience. Highly recommend!

Very lovely experience there. Lovely room with air freshener, beautiful NZ products supplied, TV. Paid US$ 289. Absolutely perfect and incredibly comfortable location to Te Papaka & Puketapu. Gorgeous area close enough to the super market and restaurants, and the arts centre in a couple of minutes and a short drive to the town CBD.

The rooms have good storage space and bathroom facilities, with a fantastic location just a short walk away from Te Papaka & Puketapu.

The room was well-maintained and modern, offered a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a microwave and a refrigerator. Our location was marvellous next to Sunday market.

I really enjoyed my time at One88 On Commerce. the staff was extremely friendly and responded promptly to requests. - the location was great, being close to the supermarket, restaurants, the main center, and stores. - It was convenient for traveling around Whakatane and also close to Whakatane War Memorial Hall.
